Had some contact with Empire a few years ago. Not impressed!! I got a lot of BS on what a wonderful job they do. I haven't heard one positive comment about them yet. I would stay away from them.
I think someone else on this forum had some contact with them. Maybe they will chime in soon with more information.

This thread is instructive http://www.classiccar.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=13&id=142439&Itemid=152#142439
At the OKC National Rudi Bennet and Chuck Fellows gave an interesting talk on the technical aspects of their cylinder head design, they also mentioned in passing that Valor Blazer (Empire Motors) with whom they had extensive dealings on their cylinder head project is not a very nice person or words to that effect.
Actually I was quite surprised to see an ad from Empire Motors in the Nov/Dec WTN, but presumably their poor rep has been brought to HET management's attention.0 -
Hopefully, Randy Maas or any of the other folks who are doing some testing on their product will chime in here after a bit and let us know how they are doing on their testing of the new cyl heads that empire motors is building. I saw one in Laughlin last year and it looks fantastic. The general opinion of the folks there that checked it out was that they cannot wait to get their hands on one. This is not a new subject. If you do a search you can find a thread with about two hundred hits on it. Bottom line, they make a great product at a fair price and a lot of the negative crap you have been reading is just that.......0

I hope you're right Brownie.. It would be nice to have a good source for cylinder heads in the States. I'm dealing with an old cracked head on my 17. It would be nice to replace it one day. Problem is, the negative comments came from people in the Horse Carriage Club with law suites to get there parts and money returned. People don't just make these thing up. I wish we could straighten this thing out with good honest first hand account of what we could really expect. Please keep us in the loop.

OK, I just finished doing some rereading of the posts on Empire Motors inc. and owner Valor Blazer and boy do I seem to have egg on my face. In conversations with Mr. Blazer I found him to be smart and quite easy to talk to and such. However, I never worked with him or sent him any parts or such. I was excited when members Russ Maas, Rudi Bennet and Chuck Fellows agreed to work directly with him. Today, I read the final experiences that Rudi and Chuck posted on the Forum some time ago and in short. They were had big time. I did see the head in Laughlin but no comments about empire were made. I expect that Empire is producing them and making all the profit from Rudi and Chuck's design. So, with that said, I am not going to post coments on Empire Motors and I would only say to potential customers of Empire Motors be careful in your deelings with them. As we have heard many times: Let the buyer beware....0
