1920? Essex Grille

I was walking through an antique store the other day and saw what I thought was an Essex radiator shell. The tag read "1920 Essex winter front car grill(e) $100.00. Looks to be in really nice shape, no rust through. If anyone is interested send me an email and I'll go purchase it (if it's still there). $100.00 plus shipping cost from Spring Hill, Kansas.

This radiator shell is a little newer than 1920, it fits the first 6 cylinder Essex from 1924 to 1926. The 1919-1923 shells had a beveled angle where this shell has a rounded corner where the top meets the sides.
