Interesting, the ebay listing says no through rust on any part. It is clear that the vacuum tube is rusted through. And it looks like the manifold is cracked just under the tube however he only comments on the crack on the lower piece. I dont think this guy has looked this part over enough!

Is there any place to "click" to go to the actual ebay listing? I clicked on view and bid, and didn't go anywhere.

Mike, link worked fine for me - and I'm usually the one who has problems using this 10 year old clunk of mine.

I love the "no rust thru on any parts" claim - looks to me like the tube has a BIG rusted out hole in it.

Two things come to mind; the seller is crazy asking $500 for this piece; and 2 anybody that buys it for $500 is crazier than the seller. But, that said, each to his own.

  • Golly Aaron, guess I should not have thrown all those manifolds away years ago after seeing this. Never liked them, hard starting in hot weather etc. They looked impressive tho. lot of them were taken off after about a year by the dealers because no one knew how to adjust them. I paid 15 dollars for the last one I bought. Of course I had to take it off myself. This one looks like it may have been one of those and laid in the field all these years. Guess I will keep what I have left and let the wife deal with it after I am gone. LOL

They aren't hard starting at all unless the heat riser is stuck, which happens often and isn't specific to the twin-h manifolds.

Looks to me that a lake in either--Grand Lake Saint Marys State Park or Indian Lake State Park is missing that or the rest of the car is swimming with the fish
