I know it has been discussed before and there is a fuel pump from another make that works on the stepdowns. can someone supply me the info or direct me to the info? I believe one from an AMC and a 70's Pinto/Mustang worked?? Trying the search funtion didn't help. Thanks

    Here are the Airtex numbers:
-6737 inlet (barb) points forward - outlet (female inv. flare) points down
-60167 inlet (barb) points rear - outlet (female inv. flare) points down

  • You can get the correct fuel pump you need from Dale Cooper

Never heard of a stock-type pump with return line- I thinks thats a kit you get from Walt.
  • You have to make your own fuel return line using the filter numbers I list in my tech tip books.. The hard parts is connecting it to the gas tank. Walt.

What fuel pump do you use?
  • I have a couple fuel pumps, one is double action and appears to be rebuilt with tag still on pump #3986 doesn't look like ever installed on car?

  • I use the AMC Concord, 72 to 88 fuel pump, single action, and you must use a 1/4 to 5/16 spacer or you will break the arm off. Walt.
