NO opinions ? how about the price of $150-good,bad,normal?
  • I had the green one'd from your picture in my Hudson when I bought it, was ok for the front seat. Back seats had original covers and were not very nice being faded and dirty looking, probably just dust got into the fabric. Don't know about the price, you can check on the internet because these were made the same for several cars of the 50's not just specifically for Hudson. I got the interior re-upholstered as soon as I could afford it, they were musty and didn't look good, but did their job as temperory seat covers.

Hi Chuck. You asked for comments , so here is mine.
I think you should look for two matching ,high quality "Indian "
blankets and hog ring them to your cusions. A lot cheaper and more
"artistic ".wouldn't be any more effort than the seat covers.
I don't like any of the ones you show , Hey you asked !

  • If you are not in a hurry you can find the seat covers like that at a Hudson meet for a lot less than that. $75 -$25 a set I would say depending on the vendor .

I agree with lostmind, Chuck. Except I'm not too fond of the Indian blankets, either.

Chuck, are these seat covers made of NEW "retro look" material, or are they actually NOS, made of a 50-year-old fabric? If the latter, then watch out -- that's old material and it won't last long.

If it's new, then I assume you're going for the look of the type of seat covers my parents would have (and did!) have installed on our car in the mid fifties. And it does look neat, in a way, to us who remember that stuff in cars. But for most younger people nowadays who aren't in on the joke, it says nothing. You might want to consider paying a bit more in return for the right to pick a custom material that "works with" the original colors in your car and looks like it belongs.

My friend who bought my 39 CC6 (and has it on the road by the way) did the seats in indian blanket. Does he look like a happy man? And his wife likes them, which makes him happier yet!
