  • Thanks for the picture. I'm wondering what the radiator cap under the hood looks like. Mine is brass and I'm wondering if it is original. I can take some pictures.

my coupe has late model running gear in it and the tank is pressurized
wheres yours would have no poundage in the radiator cap maybe 1 or 2 pounds as for the honey comb core
Fossil42 would be the best to ask he has a stable of them

No idea on the 31,but I can post a pic of the one on my 30. Problem is I don't know if its even
correct, but it fits. No pressure on the cooling system, the overflow pipe vents the system.

^LOL^ Too late,it already killed the 29 engine that was in it when I got it. ;)
  • Great! Thanks for all the pictures. I'm pretty sure that I have the same one as Bones 1931. I'm still on the look out for a rear trunk handle and latch, it was missing when I bought the car. Anyone have a picture of what the correct trunk handle should look like? Thanks.

1st is the standard 30-31r/seat /deck handle which matches the doors
2nd 1 is the deluxe model and 31 Hudson handle

  • Now I know what I looking for. Thanks!
