I'm looking to buy a disc brake set up for my 53 superwasp. Like the pridemore setup or like a scarebird type deal. I saw the thread with the Granada rotors but I didn't see how the caliper is mounted

  • If you are hoping to get a Pridemore set, then I think you may be out of luck. When I last talked to him he said he was either getting out of production or just had. Can't remember which.

When I talked to him in the past he said he had to have the brackets cut in groups ( ten I think ).If we get enough people that want brackets maybee he will run a nother batch.I would like four sets of brackets.Just a thought.

Is this something that is going to happen or is it just a fishing expedition?

Richard is here at Doc's and said his supplier does not want to make anymore, so he is done with project for now.

I too was hoping to get a pride more or land system but gave up. Out of concern that the few remaining source would disappear I purchased kit from abs brakes online for $630, as complete as previous kits. Made in USA. I have no info on how well they install as not installed yet. But may be worth alook
  • Would Richard be willing to let someone else take over the project if he is not interested in continuing with it?

Is the Labud kit still available? I was under the impression that all the kits were no longer in production?
  • Any new news on disc brake kits?
  • I think Kanter offers one,

I'd reproduce them if Richard would be
    okay with it.

  • Get the kit from Kanter in NJ and just bolt it on, comes complete. Hope they still are selling them. 1-800-526-1096 Hudson people complain about price and that is why the makers stop selling the parts. Walt.
