Speak for yourself. If you'd follow Walt's instructions from his published accounts, you'd have all the brakes you will ever need in a Hudson and then some ! ! !

I know drum brakes can dialed in. My pacemaker has very good oe brakes, and I probably won't change them. There appeal of disk brakes to me is no adjustment and almost no maintenance.
I picked up a complete set of late model mustang brakes, so I'm playing to see if I can make it work. The first issue I see is it will be very tight with stock wheels. Beyond that, it looks feasible. Parts are recent, Well made, and economical.
I've talked to labud and pridemore, both have made good kits but aren't doing now ( or maybe ever?)
Just another side project to occupy my time.
