Because we are moving and can't take the car with us, I'm selling our 39 112 Coupe.

We bought the car from Paul Schuster in 2000.

The frame has been painted and the brakes are complete. The body is currently sitting on a dolly, but can be bolted back on the frame for transport.

It comes with a Jet 202 (rebuilt by Paul O'Malley) and a 3 SP w O/D. I have fabricated the front motor mount plate to use the original front motor mounts and boxed the cross member for the trans mount. There is a clearance issue with the exhaust manifold and the firewall. The 212 that was in the car has been sold. A pre- '40 212 or 175 with 3 spd will bolt right in.

The body was sand blasted in late 2007 and the sheet metal is in very good condition. The only rust spots were the lip below the trunk lid, several pin holes in the bottom of the drivers door skin, drivers side floor pan and a single pin hole in the passenger side kick panel. All of these places were cleaned and treated with POR15 at that time. There are 2 cracks in the drivers side floor that should be welded. The right front fender has a hole at the front corner where the fender bolts to the grille.

I have all of the glass but it will have to be replaced as it was still in the car when it was sand blasted.

When we bought the car from the Schusters, it came with a lot of spare parts. In the 12 years we have owned it, we have acquired more parts for it (parts not used by a hot rodder, 202 Twin H w/carbs and air cleaners, etc.

I am asking $4K for everything down to the last nut and lock-washer. Or I will take $3K for just the car.

Gosh that looks like a fair buy. Too many projects now, but that would be a good one. Where are you located?
