Mike Taylor has a very nicely restored version of this '38 in NZ.

His comments on the ad are quite accurate. Coachcraft built these Sports Saloons in very limited numbers and only for a few years. There were quite a number of coachbuilders in London at the time but only a few of these cars remain today. The estimate number from the book from John Dyson is less than ten per year. Mechanically they are on the large frame Hudson cars and they are well built as far as coachbuilt cars go. You can say rare, but, in reality every one is different. Here is a photo of my 36....

Is the Kiwi Taylor '38 also by Coachcraft? The auction '38 has been closed apparently without sale. Anyone know what happened?

This is the one from down under that I have photos of... Not sure if that is Mike and his wife by the car or not. Nice car however.... This one is a 38 Coachcraft.
