hmm - says it has o.d. but no Jets came with that so either a mistake by auction co., which are frequent, or someone put one in someplace along the line.0

Gives a serial number of IT10011 - so who had #11, if that's the correct serial number??

Here's an old list of Italia owners that was published in the WTN some time ago.

oldhudsons - Jets were available with the OD as well as Hydromatic, however, the kits Hudson sent to Touring to build the Italias did not include OD or HD0

53 - I know that, had a "knock out" low mileage '54 JL 2 door with red & white naughyde interior, Hydro, Continental kit, ergo "the whole 9 yards" BUT those trans. options NOT ever sold on an Italia, as we both know.0

SOOOOOOOOOOO..DID WE EVER FIGURE OUT WHO "THIS" ITALIA BELONGS TO?.. You ask a simple question in here and they build you a bridge...lol0

It is the old silver car, originally from the Harrah collection, then it went to Joe Bortz, to his wife in the divorce, then to Phil Burt. Burt sold it to Mark Hyman a few years ago who did the cosmetic restoration. It sold at auction a couple of years ago at Amelia Island to a non Hudson guy and it is up for sale again.

aha, remember seeing it at Harrah's - had had some odd things done to it (seems like I remember seeing some machine turning on firewall or ?).0
-
used to have some pics of it taken there, like 40 yrs. ago; will see if I can find them, if so will scan & post0
-
Yes, it had additional engine turning done on a panel added under the hood and trunk. It also had a console added and radio speakers in the back package shelf. I believe it is back to original now. The front bumper is now two pieces as the restoration shop didn't want to plate the thing in one piece. A few other oddities, but a decent looking car on the surface.0

found photos of several other Italias that were, or still are, in L.A. but not the Harrah's car0
