Our First Car Show
We were able to make it to our first car show yesterday with our '50 Pacemaker Deluxe. It was a hot trip - but as y'all told me "If you ain't steaming, you're OK."
We were just so darned excited to be able to go that we did not take chairs or the camera. Sorry for no pictures.
Had some lookers. One guy told me he was happy to see one at the show that was not all-dressed up and was as OEM as possible to include the 62 year old dirt.
The local Ford Falcon contingent were all cleaned and restored but not hopped on chrome or steroid engines either - I liked seeing that.
We hope to make it to the CBC-HET meet on 30 Sep. However, church and no ferry service on the Potomac make getting there a large timing issue.

Glad that you made it there and back without any incidents. How about a few pictures.
