reproduction parts
Hi Guys:
We are trying to expand our inventory of parts that are not available at this time. We are currently working on getting glove boxes made for hudson. We would like to expand to door cards, firewall insulation, kick panels, rear package trays, hood insulation etc. At some point, we made need to get some measurements/examples from members since I dont have a good template on hand. If we can get an example we will furnish you a new set for free.
Is there anything else that you feel is need? Please let me know.

Hi Russ, guess you didn't know that Vintage Coach has had the glove boxes repo'd for quite some time. Check with Jason for details.0

R & R-
That's great news! Do you have the measurements for the glove box? I have a loose one that could be measured if you need it. I also currently have templates made for 2drs. that are loose and could be utilized for patterns if you need it.
Also, I have made repro toe boards (to factory specs) if you y'all want to stock some of those. Can send you pics.
Firewall insulation, YAAYYYY!! You can put me down for one whenever you have them.
Lastly, I can make a pattern for rear package tray, sedans, if you need it.
Let me know how I can help!

O.K. Russ, just hate to see somebody trying to re-invent the wheel!0

Rubber since K-gap seems to no longer be a source. I have got to do all four doors, trunk, hood, taillights before the spring rains.0

Pacemaker500, I have the window channeling, Division Bars and beltlines (Fuzzies) for your Sedan, $145.00 + S & H. If you want the channeling preformed add $50.00. Victor Z ,, (562) 237-4819, thez@verizon.net. Spring is on the way and I need to pay $$$$$$$$$$$$ for a room at the National.0

Just a plea from me: whenever any of you gets underway selling new repro's, please let me know and I'll gladly list them on my Hudson Repro pages. (This is also a good way to find out just what is currently being reproduced for Hudsons.) http://www.detailedconcepts.net/Repro_Table.pdf0

Russ, one thing we REALLY need is gas tanks.0
-
Well you won't have to worry about 48-53 rockers. I'm reproducing them. The prototypes came out great.

Lance,
More details please! how about some pictures? nothing I like better than a little shameless promotion!0 -
http://rickstanks.com/ have made Stepdown gas tanks. $600-700 I think.
May I suggest making the interior panels out some more resilient material than cardboard?0 -
OK Dave will do.0

Here is a pair of parts I have had difficulty finding.. Left and right glove box bumpers for 48-50. PN 212547 48-50 fits inner. PN 21548 fits 48-50 outer .Then switch sides and they fit 51-53. I don't see a difference in left and right on the ones I have, but they could have been changed. They sure make opening the glovebox door easier.0

I hope they put a drain plug in the corner, to get rid of bad gas.0

I took these pics at the Roanoke Virginia 2012 Eastern Regional. Some of you may know this gentleman's name. He was the owner of the 46-47 Hudson pick-up truck. Just can't recall at this moment but he was selling tanks like this one if I remember well. Hope this help. Michel0

Newbie here, looking for vent glass rubber seals for a 55 hudson rambler custom 4 door. Or if anyone knows what else may work. This is not a show car car, just a nice clean driver. Thanks0
-
Need vent glass rubber for 55-57 Hudsons, will fit Nash too.0
-
Newbie, the '55 Hudson Rambler was badge-engineered from a Nash prodcut and in fact its parts virtually all interchange with the Nash-badged Rambler (of which many more were built than Hudsons). I don't know much about the Nash / AMC parts situation but I'd imagine that your time may be better spent in checking with Nash / AMC vendors and at Nash / AMC internet forums. Not trying to drive you away from here, though -- you never know what might be hanging around in some Hudson vendor's parts bin!

Thanks for the info Jon. I'm finding out that this car is a little odd with all the different badges on iit. Grill emblem, horn button and hub caps Hudson. Gas cap, dash name plate, trunk lock handle, and fender emblems Rambler. Rear bumper gaurds plate surround Nash. Maybe they knew their days were numbered and were using up all their stock.0
