Mickey Gleydura - longtime Western Reserve chapter member died Friday
We lost a member of the WEstern-Reserve Chapter on Friday. Michael 'Mickey" Gleydura was a long-time member of the club. He was brother to the late Chaz Gleydura and was the uncle of Chuck Gleydura and Joe Gleydura. The Gleydura family were part of the founding members of the WR Chapter.

HUBBARD Michael S. Gleydura, 81, died Friday evening September 21, 2012 at his home. He was born December 23, 1930 in Liberty Twp., a son of Carl and Anna Hrcak Gleydura and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Gleydura attended Liberty High School. He was a lithographer for U.S.Can, formerly Sherwin Williams for 35 years, retiring in 1996. Michael was a very active member of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, SS Cyril and Methodius Church of Youngstown, he loved his church and was a devoted volunteer. He was a Councilman, a member of the Infant Jesus of Prague Guild, Altar and Rosary Society, Cy Me Men Club and St. Cyril’s Senior Club.
Michael was a member of the Hudson Essex Terraplane Club and enjoyed working on his cars, especially his classic 1935 Hudson Coupe.
He leaves his wife, the former Veronica Walihnac, whom he married May 18, 1957; two sons, Michael (Debra) Gleydura and their children Matthew and Sarah Gleydura of Poland and Timothy (Mary Morgan) Gleydura of Niles and his children Ronald and Jared Gleydura of Lakeland, FL; two daughters, Mary Lynn Altemese and her son, Daniel of North Attleborough, MA and Rhonda (Doug) Walters and their children Renee and Jessica of Las Vegas; a sister, Helen (Al) Martin of Brookfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, William J. Gleydura; two brothers, Joseph and Charles Gleydura and five sisters, Betty Chordas, Clara Kriech, Ann Kriech, Mildred Senvisky and Dorothy Wozniak.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:00 AM at Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home and 11:00 AM at SS Cyril and Methodius Church with Msgr. Peter Polando officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
