Way to far for me but 1,500.00 is a very fair price for that car even if just using the parts.

  • Thanks to Kdancy for positive comments, below is answer to someone who expressed interest in my car which really is to far, however I answered. Recently I pulled carpet from interior floor and trunk both were solid rust free.

Marco, thank you for your interest...

Sorry, I don't know the cost of delivering my car to Brazil, however if you are interested I would help transport car to Long Beach, CA. necessary to ship overseas.
Following is message I sent to another person who expressed interest in 1956 Hornet, since then I have had starter rebuild, sand blasted and painted five wheels, replaced with decent used tires and purchased new battery, distributor cap, rotor, condenser and points necessary to rebuild distributor. As soon as Las Vegas weather starts to cool down intend to start rebuilding Twin-H carb's, in doing so I just spend additional $250.- for parts and labor and expect reimbursement.
Does the motor run?, turn over?, froze up? Clear title?
    A.) MOTOR NOT RUNNING
B.) TURNS OVER BY HAND, WHILE TURNING WE BELIEVE IT HAS COMPRESSION
    C.) ENGINE NOT FROZE UP
D.) CLEAR CALIFORNIA TITLE IN HAND
AS I MENTIONED TO OTHERS; PURCHASED CAR FOR POWERFUL 308 TWIN-H ENGINE, THEN THOUGHT ABOUT RESTORING, (JUST FINISHED MY '52 COUPE) IN ANTICIPATION OF RESTORATION; BEEN POURING MARVEL MYSTERY OIL DOWN CYLINDERS, ALSO SPRAYING WD-40 ON AND AROUND ALL BOLTS, APPEARS CAR FRAME AND BODY DOESN'T HAVE RUST PROBLEM, CAR IS A WEST COAST DESERT ORIGINAL. FOR BETTER ROLLING I CHANGED FOUR TIRES WITH MUCH BETTER USED ONES. HAVE ALL STAINLESS TRIM, CAR IS 99% COMPLETE AND LOCATED IN DOWNTOWN MECHANIC'S SHOP (FLAMINGO & DECATUR) IN LAS VEGAS.

    GOOD LUCK, RAY

    P.S. PICTURES OF SAND BLASTED/PAINTED WHEELS AND PAST 1956 308 TWIN-H ENGINE I HAD...
