I have been looking for my old 49 Commodore eight Convertible for many years. Sold it about 1977 or so. lost track, but never stopped writing and looking. The owner just emailed me! I sent him a history as I knew it and asked that he fill me in on the life since then. He said he saw my request somewhere on the internet and made contact. Can't wait to find out where it is and all that stuff!

I have several cars I've always regretted selling but at my age don't think if I could find them I would try to get them back.

Seems the owner is in Alpheretta Geogia. Just a short distance from Gainsville where I bought Herb's convertiuble.. What a coincidence..

About a year or so back the 1949 C6ClCp with a 1956 Hornet 308 in it that I sold around 1989 showed up on ebay. I knew of the seller and sent him an email with info on the car - but I never heard anything more on it.
I had head that the idiot I sold it to left it outside all winter with just water in the radiator - yes, it cracked the block. Sometime in the mid-90's I spotted it over in New Hampshire alongside Route 109 - I stopped but nobody was home and I never got back. Heard later the guy that had it there was a collector - the car needed restoration, mainly interior and a huge dent in the left rear corner of the roof where a barn fell on it. One of Larry Wellman's cars that I bought from him originally.
