I'd like to know why the front bumper does not line up? Look at the front view. No radio. Walt0

Looks like the R-front fender has a kink in it right over the wheel well. And the front bumber gaurd on that side is leaning forward. As walt pointed out the bumper is high on the right side too. Must have been bumped at some point prety good . Paint is dull too ,needs some buffing but overall a nice looking car,

if it is all original, as represented, it's really an incredible find, esp. considering how rare ANY '42 is! Look at that uph., steering wheel with 0 cracks, dash looks great; could even be original spare as tread design as of the period. Helluva find!0

My 1942 Hudson Two Door Brougham has lower mileage than this one, showing just 28k and is still all original except for the repaint done in the USA in 1980, don't think I'll swap. The engine bay in my car is a lot cleaner than this one, the ding in the front fender is an easy fix then straighten up the bumper bar and it would be all good again.0

No comparison to the one Les has down under.. The one Les has did not have a radio originally either. The radio was added in more recent years from a Dealers Old stock, including the proper antenna. The dealer in Georgia had closed it's doors in 1957 ,but Hal Waddell convinced the owner to open the doors and sell him the radio and installation kit probably late 70's early 80's.0

I saw the car Hal Waddell owned down in Front Royal, I believe around 1976?
It's hard to think there would be a better one around.0 -
this car is from grand rapids mi it belonged to a man with a small neighborhood car lot on the west side of grand rapids, vic johnson was his name. he died a number of years ago and his son had the car the last 10-15 years.about 2 years ago it was for sale and did not sell so he took it to a online auction here in town and it sold to the high bidder. i believe it sold for 12500.00,very nice car.0
