Those darn '46-'47 Horn rings

I've been looking for a horn trim ring/beauty ring for the steering wheel of my '47 Hudson C8 sedan. Does anyone have one they would sell? It seems to me that everyone who has a '46-'47 model has this part on theirs broken so I know I'm not alone. Probably because at one time or another owner of these cars had an encounter with less than educated motorists and slammed on the horn breaking these flimsy cast pot-metal pieces. Not to mention that the shiny nickle plating on these things seems to be worn off any of them that have survived. I'm pretty sure Super 6 steering wheels didn't have those horn rings.



Can I retrofit one from a '48-'49 Hudson I've seen at HET swap meets?
