Replacement Dif
Upon lookin for a rear end for my 47 p/up I stumbled across a Late 80s or early 90s Jeep Cherokee rear end that is the perfect width, wheel bolt pattern(4 1/2 bolt circle) and the d-shaft yoke is even the same. The gear ratios go from 3.08,3.55,3.73, 4.1,4.56. Although this dana 35 is not as strong as a ford 9in,I think it is strong enough for a Hudson drive train. The spring perchs need to be about 1 1/2in closer together,I just cut the perches and panard bar bracket off the old hinny and welded to the dana 35.This may be old news to you guys,I just thought id pass it along as I accidentally discovered this when my brother was scrapping some cars at his shop.
