1931 Essex Starter

Looking to purchase a starter or parts. I need the bendix starter drive for my 1931 Essex Super Six Sedan. The model number on the starter is MAJ-4009. Would the bendix from a 1932 Essex starter model number MAJ-4025 work in the 1931 starter? Any interchangeable parts that may work? Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks Mike
