1954 Hornet Hollywood For Sale in Tennessee
HETDozerman827@gmail.com is your contact for this car. drop the HET. Mac (Earl McNees) has hearing problems so a phone call would not be appropriate. He does monitor his emails daily. The car is located near Clifton Tn. 38425 . I don't know his asking price, but he is a reasonable man to deal with.
Not my car, but I did work on it several years ago. No frame rust ever. Palm Beach green with Ivory top. Nice chrome and stainless. I did a major overhaul on the 308, reground cam, pistons all valves and springs etc.. (original matching numbers). The dual range HydraMatic had a major rebuild by Henny at Greenville Transmissions in South Carolina.Twin H, Power steering, Power brakes, 12 volt with alternator, air conditioned. Wide white bias tires. Interior shows some wear and is not original but looks period .New Dodge truck radiator, cd player mounted in center console.. Owner is in 80's and hasn't driven it in over a year .From what the owner tells me. The neutral switch is not functioning and solenoid has to be jumped under the hood. Probably nothing more than an adjustment. He is very limited in his ability to work on anything any more. I don't have access to my pictures due to a computer failure. There was a picture, about a year ago, in the WTN with the trunk loaded with wrapped Christmas gifts.I would like to see it go to a good home.

I concur with SuperDave - I saw this car (and Earl) at a couple of Mid-South meets in Crump, TN, a couple or so years back. It is a very nice looking car.

Thanks for the pictures, Dave. I remembered to drop the "HET" and did get a nice reply from him. He says is looking for $20K. I would be very tempted if it were red/white, also I just acquired at 51 Commodore 6 Hollywood so may need to pull in my horns a bit.
Regards,
Don0
