Under the dash I.D. question.
This is looking in from the dash instrument gauge area. Would someone please tell me what this is by my finger in the photo? With the wiring diagram that I have, from what I can tell it looks like a circuit breaker or relay? Is it possible to bypass this being that I'm using a 12 fuse circuit block with my new wiring harness? Thank you! and a huge thank you to all of you that have helped me so far!

The item with the two studs is a circuit breaker. But it looks like there are two of them. Is this a convertible? In any case, yes, you can bypass them, but if replacing with a fuse block, you're losing the "automatic reset" feature of the circuit breaker, which may be important for certain items.0

The reason they used a circuit breaker on for instance the headlights .Would be if it tripped off while driving at night just about the time you skidded to a stop because you cant see it would kick back on. A fuse wont do that,

The way it looks to me, it is a circuit breaker and yes you can bypass it but i wouldn't because
it clooks like one is for the headlights and the other is for the turn signals. i hpoe this helps
