Thank you! Also at AACA Annual Meeting, Eldon and Esta Hostetler received National Award Chocolate Town trophy for their 1937 Railton limousine.
At the banquet, at the end of his opening remarks, new 2013 AACA President, HET member, Tom Cox said "long live the Hudson Motor Company"

Definite congratulations to Dave and Mitzi. Having their 1936 panel truck, along with the Hostetlers, was a great treat in G'burg. I think it's safe to say that it's these two rare trucks being at a National together that makes it a must to attend a National - another example where else could you find 3, right 3, Italias in one place at the same time as happened at the Nashville National, if I remember correctly. Well, it was one that I attended anyway. And how many of us have actually seen a Dover up close - the Hostetlers brought theirs to Pontiac in 2009 - and there was even a 1917 or 1918 center door Hudson there also - how many have seen one of those?

Ditto. "Long live the Hudson Motor Company." Add my congratulations to the Sollon's and
Hostetler's,look forward to seeing these fine examples sometime in the future. And special thanks for sharing the Terraplane Delivery build on the forum here. Much appreciated.
  • There will be another 37 or38 Panel Terraplane at San Mateo, National Meet in July. Dave Dituri, owner will have it there and there will be a ForSale sign on it. Dave said it maybe a "one" only left of this year model. He is putting in the next WTN with all the details.

It is only known 1938. He has side mount tire cover also.

Geez, a 1938 Panel... i'm afraid to ask how much the owner wants to sell it for. The last 37' Panel I seen listed sold for 20k unrestored. So, this one would be somewhere in the same price range or possible more?
As much as I want a 37' Terraplane Panel, due to its rarity I am going to have to wait and save up quite a lot before I'll ever own one.
  • Congratulations on the awards you have received on the panel truck. I really enjoyed looking over this vehicle in Gettysburg. Well done and well deserved!
  • Dave was indicating that he would START at 15K and go from there. Rich Smithen
  • Congratulations to Dave S for his awards on his 36 Panel Truck. Great pictures. Sure wish I could see it up close and personal. It is hard for us West Coasters to get to the East coast. Is there someway for anyone to post a group of pictures as some vehicles in the for sale sites do? Just wondering.

Don't know if this is what you had in mind, Rich, but I'm building a Hudson Family Album, for current owners to have their cars on-line, on the HET club Gallery. I've had a few responses in my requests for pictures. Also, I've put up a Gettysburg National album that has both, of the Terraplane Panel trucks.
