She Started "First Time"!!!!!!
I started Hannah Hudson today for the first time this year. Once gas got to the carb, she fired right up. We now have working windshield wipers thanks to a motor rebuild this winter. Only thing(s) left are Fuel Gauge/Sending Unit and activation of the Over Drive unit - both electrical issues (I think).

CongratulationsP500! It's always a good feeling (or maybe relief) when it starts after sitting for winter.

Well done PM500 - good luck with the rest of the electrical jobs.0

That would mean that you do not drive your car year around (on clear road days?)0

Sort of......I have a some major leaks around the front doors and the radio antenna gasket. So I tend to keep Hannah indoors. I last drove Hannah to church in November. She will make few trip this week to the train station, shuttling family visiting for Spring Break since we are down to one vehicle in addition to Hannah. My insurance limits me to 5000 miles per year.
Once Dr. Doug announces he is fully ready to take Rubber Orders, new door seals will be ordered. I have the radio antenna gasket and will order the new internal knob and bezel (mine are broken) to make the job complete.0 -
Good deal! I start my 39 every week during the winter just to keep the juices flowing. But is good to hear that your fired right up after siiting. I too am going to order from Dr Doug. I am replacing all the rubber around all windows. and doors. Best to you on the electrical issues.0

I also expect that Dr. Doug will supply me with the needed new rubber for my 54 that I am working on....0
