Not personally fond of the Apple Green but seems one heckuva bargain IF COMPLETE even after container shippin to the US. How many other ET8 coupes are known anywhere? I can only think of three.

the aussie dollar is trading one to one for the USD....18000 plus 9000 to 14000 for shipping is a bargain for a coupe project? i am totally out of the loop on '33 coupe prices. wow.

The T8 has been on offer down here for maybe 2 years, mainly through the local HET magazines, that it hasn't sold is a mystery. If I didn't have my hands full with my 35 H8 roadster project I would buy it in a flash.

As I understand it the motor has been gone through from top to bottom, there is probably 8k just there.

Shipping from Australia to the US would be around 5k.

That looks like a '27 Essex Speedabout color.

Cool project! If I had a bunch more money, a bunch more time, a bunch more space, and a bit more energy, and if it was a little closer! ....I'd be all over that project! :)

Mr Ward, can we see the '35 Roadster eight project? Love to see it.

Have asked him some questions to see what is missing
as parts would be very hard to find
    no answer to date
would only cost $5k or possibly less to get it here
why so dear to move up there?
    a very nice project
do they have the roll down rear window like the 31s

bob, i shipped a tiger moth from OZ to los angeles in 2001. it was over 5000 then and only because i found someone who used to work in shipping on the local docks. 3 quotes i got from reputable shipping companies were in the 9000 to 10,000 range and that was in 2001. the Tiger did not take any more space than this coupe would. i am surprised you were able to get a price in the range you were quoted. regards. tom

When I buy old cars from the US, the last one was a year ago, shipping costs me around 3500.
