I am looking to purchase decent rear fenders and the connecting piece which runs between them and below the trunk lid. Any help available?
Thanks

Those rear connecting panels are usually rusted out. Their difficult to duplicate, but not impossible, because of the oppossing curves & bends....If your panel is beyond repair maybe it could be used as a pattern for a fabricator....0

Thanks ol Racer! Any idea on fenders? Anyone?
Thanks0 -
Good sheet metal (especially NOS) is extremely hard to find in the older Hudsons, 1930's and earlier. The running gear stuff...that's a lot easier to find.
Keep an eye out, but if you see a damaged or slightly rusted fender for sale, and it seems reasonably priced to you, go ahead and buy it, and have it repaired.
I don't know if you're in the Club, but you could of course place an ad in the WTN requesting these parts. A lot more people still subscribe to the WTN than patronize the two Hudson forums.0 -
fyi
Try these guys for dry Western fenders...atascoleman@wispwest.net and albrighthudsons@msn.com... Additionally, There is a guy on this Forum thats talented and could make that rear Panel, Try search for person with title name 'Bent Metal'.0 -
FYI
If you cant find fenders sometimes its easier to buy a whole car just for the donor parts....Ive done it and bet others have too....0 -
I'll keep looking! Thanks Ol racer and Jon B!0

Still looking for rear fenders. Anyone have any leads. I must have emailed every salvage yard with an email address on line. and searched all of them I run across here in the south east. Anyone have anything 36-38? Help!
Thanks0 -
I have a front bumper for a 38 that's not in to bad shape.0

I don't think a '36 rear fender will interchange with a '37-38.0

is it a 37 or 38 ? HUDSON OR TERRAPLANE?0

DO YOU STILL NEED THE FENDERS? I HAVE0

Hello Myname is Clif Minard & I have been a club member for some 50 years or so. I have a N.O.S 1937 Hudson bumper clip (1 only) for sale or trade. Never installed on a vehicle & in mint condition. I also own the 37 that is advertised in the current issue of the W.T.N. Clif Minard. Please let me know if you are interested.0
