Spring arrives at the Cabinhaus

The snow is going fast, Most of the ice left the pond yesterday, which I walked the dogs around again today. A pair of geese honked at us the whole way. Some ducks quacked more quietly while a couple of kingfishers twittered around. Watched a big red-headed woodpecker for a while. a cardinal, bluejays, a pair of mourning doves, a bluebird, sparrows, a nuthatch, some titmice, robins are back.
I turned 77 yesterday, as the vintage plate registration arrived from Albany, 1940 World's Fair 2R 972, for the Victoria Eight Coupe. The weather looks like the 60s next week so plan to squirt it with primer, then put the headliner and glass in, and finish the inside panels, and install the freshly upholstered seats (by me). The new door hinges should be done soon.
Woke up the 49 Commadore a couple of days ago, and the 52 Hornet and the 47 Pickup yesterday. They sound great. The 36 Terraplane gets a year off for some much-needed attention. Dragged some downed trees to the burnpile with the old John Deere LA. Someone is interested in the 51 Hollywood.. Maybe next year I'll sell the Hornet. Life is good.

I would like to take the opportunity here to wish you a Happy 77th Uncle Josh. I will always remember the first time I met you in Albany. I was quite new in the Club, it was my first Eastern Regional and when we talked, we noticed both of us were on this Forum. It was the first time I could put a ''face'' on someone on the Forum. I was so happy! Thank you for this great moment Uncle Josh! Michel0

Happy 77th and many more Uncle J - that said, however, I'm 2 years behind you and getting old is pigeon poop!!! I will herein quote a very good friend of mine: "If, when we were in our 20's, we knew we'd live this long we wouldn't done the things we did in our 20's"!!! Terraplane Kelly was a smart man.
