I am looking for a rust-free Jet, daily driver type, stock or slightly modified.
Watching the white one on E___ auction right now.
Wanting to spend $5000 - 10,000
Been googling and looking but not found a lot out there.

I would think you can buy the one on ebay for that amount of money.... Are you a member of the National Hudson Club. They often have one for sale in the classifieds. What part of the country do you call home?

If you want a nice jet liner with continental, new paint, interior, standard transmission located in Southwestern PA, Jerry Barnes has one for sale, due to health problems. Nice car priced at 10,000.

Wow! Thanks for the quick responses. I had kept up with the club classifieds through a car acquaintance, but it's been a while since I've talked to him. I'm located in middle TN.

I am gonna send an email about the one in St. Louis. The one in Sacramento is a bit far away and the condition is a little worse than I want to tackle. [I've got a 57 Cheby truck I have been working on for over 6 years now and still not on the road - that's one reason I am looking for a good driver.]

The one for 14k is more than I can spend. The Country Classic Car dealer I am a little leery of - anyone with any experience with them? On some of photos of the "good body" cars they describe you can see obvious rust damage.

How would I contact Mr. Barnes? Thanks again for all the help.

I have made a few minor purchases from Counrty Classic cars. They seem to be good folks. But I have never bought a car from them. I belive thety are consignment cars and they just sell for the owners on some of them. Not 100% sure that though.

The Ohio car is a four door. Freshly rebuilt engine. Has a hydromatic. Interior has been redone, similar to original. Top has been painted white. All stainless is off ready to do paint work on the rest of the car. It is a Jet Liner with out a continental kit. Does not have twin h but has one that goes with it. Asking price is $4,000. solid Georgia car.

Now have a lead on a two tone green four door in Michigan. A very nice car. Checking the price.
