1947 Hudson Emblems

Hi there all, we are looking for a set of side hood emblems for a 47 hudson project. The emblems we are looking for are the ones that say HUDSON above the Super Six Emblem. Any help would be appreciated.

    I'm afraid a lot of this stuff gravitates into the hands of Hudson collectors and parts vendors. You can find these people advertising in the Club magazine (The White Triangle News) but of course that's only available to HET Club members. You can sign up as a guest, at the Club's official website - http://www.hetclub.org (at no charge) and have limited access to some of the features there, and that includes (I believe) the Club calendar section as well as its own version of this (Classiccar) forum. In these places you may see Hudson meets (including flea markets) advertised, and if there's one near you, you may want to send someone over there to make some contacts and get some addresses of vendors to call. You might actually see the part advertised in the forum there! Of course, Ebay is an excellent place to look for parts, if you're not in the Club.

    Jon, I am a registered club member. cannot come up these emblems in the club magazine or ebay thats why we turned to the forum. Thanks

    Have you actually contacted any of the parts vendors who regularly advertise in the WTN? Seems to me I have seen these for sale on several occasions at various Hudson flea markets, and I doubt the vendors would actually list these in their WTN ads.

    But, maybe you have tried all this, and I was just unaware that the supply has dried up!
