Nit picking.. The states are not all alphabetical. North Carolina is ahead of New York.

As well it should be. Shoot, I think WYOMING should be ahead of New York- but that's just me. . . LOL

Dang, I stopped hanging out here when they changed the format.

Rosters are going in Zip Code order, the last batch mailed out went to Iowa. Thanks for your patience - it takes me about an hour and fifteen minutes to stuff 48 rosters into envelopes, tape them shut, label and stamp them. (It probably only takes 5 minutes for the post office employees to drive over them 6 or 7 times with the mail Jeep)

If anyone is taking a Las Vegas Vacation, you're welcome to stop by and help me stuff envelopes :)

Matt mentioned tonight that he is on schedule and should finish up in January. I think Utah is one of the last 84340 Zip--how many higher are there than that?

Looking forward to the day when it's feasible to have the roster online. We can save a ton of work, many dollars and a bunch o' trees too. Not to open a can here, just thinking out loud. Bob C.

Brownie- Western Washington is 98xxx, eastern Wa is 99xxx- and I think Alaska is 99 even higher xxx.

Reference things like the roster should always be in book form, IMHO- so I can take it along on my road trip and find out who's closest when I'm broke down just out of Bugtussle, Alabama- my computer isn't going to do me much good there. Magazines and stuff you only read once then delete are OK for on-line, but not reference stuff.

Thanks, Matt, for your effort on this- I shed my secretary about a year ago, and well know the hassles of large mailings.

I agree that a hard copy roster is infinitely valuable to take to events, on trips, and for use in correspondence and planning events. Signed, Still A Dumb Phone User :-S

new Roster arrived today in Az. - to my recollection one of, if not, the best one ever produced - spent a long time cruising thru it, glad to see some of my old cronies who I haven't been in touch with for mucho anos are still "with us", LOL, but also sad to see 2 of my old friends listed, and with many cars, who are now deceased, John Soneff of Colo. & Bill Albright of Calif.

Thanks Mike, my Roster arrived Friday in So. Calif. I was suprised to find missing from the Roster, my son and his car and a good friend and his cars were not listed in the new roster. I'll check with them to see if their membership is up to date. I need to update my list of cars. The truck titles had not cleared DMV in time for roster. I have aquired two more 47 Hudson PUs during these past 10-12 months for a total of 3 47 Pu and a 52 Hornet Sedan.

Thanks Mike for all the hard work putting this current Roster together and the time consuming efforts of one man task force getting them packaged, taped up, labeled, postage stamps added and mailed.

    Have a great day.

Small Paul, I got one of them cell phones - don't make breakfast, don't communicate with Mars, don't play games or take pictures - does have a dial tone which is nice and large numbers which is even better. Like you the only reason I have it is in case the car blows up on me. Yeah, I got AAA on speed dial. The phone is from GreatCall and is called a Jitterbug. Costs me about $30 a month for 200 min (sounds like a lot but you can chew them up in no time, so it's an emergency use only, pretty much.)

    Chris,

Sorry too, I believe that the cutoff date for the roster publication was around October 2012. Had your membership lapsed some time before that?

  • I'm at 94xxx and still no roster, my home is 1 mile from the Pacific, ocean so I guess I'll have to wait for the boat to land. Walt

84340 is my zip and I have had mine about a week. Sorry Chris, You are still in our hearts. Only one of my cars is listed and the 39 I sold some time ago is listed. This is the way it goes with paper documentation. The day it is published it is outdated. And it seems that it always effects those we know?

It was likely my error and hell, I already know my info. Ha! Its all good.
