I saw this truck on the property when I picked up my 54 Hudson Hornet Special coupe. It is a nice looking truck and would not be that hard to restore. I think this one is down the list a bit on Lee's schedule?

The cab is not stretched, the frame was lengthened. There are 22 inches between the cab and bed with a storeage box attached between cab and bed. The bed is original length with straight sides and tail gate. However, the front panel, for whatever reason, has a chevy tailgate welded on. Should be easy to fix correctly. I was told it was a studio truck. There is a Plumbers vise attached at right rear of bed. The flat tires have been replaced.

As Brownie mentioned the truck is a good looking truck. It is complete and no body dammage. It is way down on my "to due list". I have 2 other 47 PUs to finish first. I thought it would be a good candidate to extend the cab or restore to original. Since there was no serious interest in the truck and being partial to Hudson PUs, I could not let it go to the scrap yard to come back as poor quality China products.

Since it will be a long time before I will do anything to it, it will be available for purchase $2500 to anyone wanting a Hudson PU.

You didn't mention the engine. I thought that was interesting. My Dad has a Hudson truck with that same engine. I got a kick out of the exhaust manifold. Looks like it was home made out of a piece of exhaust pipe. But it's factory. :)

You are right I forgot. The engine is a Nash Ambassador 6 cyl. You forgot to mention your dads truck runs like a swiss watch. Someday I hope my trucks will look and run as good as his Hudson truck.
