This is an interesting collection of Life Magazine photos vintage 1951 of a "beauty pagent" publicity stunt. Check out photo #14, though. Now there is a real beauty, a 1947 (possibly 1946) Hudson Super Six.

    Some of those titles are hilarious - imagine a gal saying "I was Miss Polish Job" or "I was Miss Gasoline Station!!!". I feel sorry for Miss American Auto Club - she looks a little, er, top heavy.

    Miss American Auto Club should have a warning label on those dagmars. She could put someones eye out. I can't see! I can't see!
