Dome light(s) on a '52 Hollywood?

I was wondering if a '52 Hollywood had dome lights. Mine doesn't have any but it could be someone covered them with a new (now very old) head liner. The owner manual for the '52 shows a domelight above the rear view mirror but doensn't say anything about different models. Then I found a picture on google where a Hollywood appears to have lights on the sides, above the door windows.

I had alrady accepted that the car didn't come with dome lights, but I am taking the wiring harness out and I see a wire that appears to go up the door pillar on the passanger side. And the '46-'47 models route the dome light wire through the same place.

PS - I can't open the passanger door yet to really get in there and figure this out because last time I opened it fell off ). Yep, the door hinges rusted through and broke. I think I barely got this car in time to bring it back to life.

yes 4 small lights as JMed shows is correct. These light were used in the rears of sedans and coupes so should be easy to get housings and lenses. switch is a slide under the front edge of the dash

What is worse;
A door you cannot open because the striker is loose and keeps on getting caught OR a door with rusted through hinges?
It took me 4 days to open one of my doors on my 1949 Commodore and it just happened to be the driver side door.

Hi Christopher, yes for some reason the hinges get very rusty.

Thank you all for the feedback. Now I know of something else the car is missing, he he. What would I do without this forum?

Interesting note: The Super series stepdown cars (sedans & coupes_) have the brackets for the rear dome lights welded in and hidden under the headliner. But the two door brougham does not. I cut a couple mounting brackets from a rusted out Hornet, welded them in so now the 49 Brougham will have the rear lights. by the way, only the Hollywoods had the FOUR small lights. All the others just the two in the back.

What about the courtesy light down at the bottom of the door post, in the door jamb?

I had a curious oddity once with a '47 Commodore Six coupe. This was way back and the car had an outstanding original interior including headliner. When the dome light was ON it was lighting up the cloth headliner because the guy on the assembly line never cut the cloth and stuck the lamp lens and cover onto this particular car.

Hi bent metal, funny you mentioned courtesy lights. Here is a photo I took before removing the old wiring. I told myself "I'm glad I have to re-do the interior anyway or replacing these wires whould have been way too tricky.
