Interlocking Device gearbox1936-1940

If I dismantle things I always make a simple drawing. Later it gives a lot of help with the building up procedure.
If I compare my drawing with a photo in the Hudson Procedure Manual Transmission Section Page 3 Figure 1002
it looks like or the arm going to the gearbox in on the bottom side of the Device. In my drawing it is absolutely on the top side. My car has done a couple of years as on the drawing and the gearchange never gives a problem.
I 'am doubting now, what is correct ??
In my case the clutch arm can against the springpresure go down. If it goes up it push up the piece with the hole for the ball in the box.
