Vic, the black '50C8 Club Coupe belongs to Buzz Stahl & the gold '50C6 is "Queenie" my 4 dr sedan. Where is the 3rd? The last couple of Fridays Buzz has brought his '33ET8 cv and I have brought my '36T sd and George Khoranoff brought his newly restored '47C8 sedan. We take our Hudsons most Friday nights to Escondido's Cruisin' Grand. It is a great event and folks really love the Hudsons!

Oh, on the next pg. That is a blue '53 Wasp that belongs to a young man in town. He is slowly restoring it as he gets the time & $$. It has quite a ways to go! We keep after him about joining the club but he seems resistant to the idea??

We see Fred around town in your '53HH occasionally, he isn't involved with Hudson Club. Several people have tried to buy it from him, but he isn't selling. No idea what happened to TC's '40 BB PU - it was a great truck!
  • I used to know Phil Roskie years ago when I lived in Santa Clara and he lived in San Leandro. He had a Hudson Stepdown he called "Queenie".

Yes, and Queenie was a beauty too. Think it was off white with a green interior, 4 dr . I got to drive her in 1982. Wonder what ever happened to her. Bruce

Rob & Bruce, our 50C6 sd is the, "Queen of the Road," we call her Queenie for short! I bought her almost 20 years ago from the family of the original owner, she was in great shape and after only doing a brake job I put about 20,000 miles on her. Three years ago I took her completely apart and put her back together with some upgrades and we drove her 8,000 miles last summer - all over the US. She is a great car!

Pete, TC's 1940BB truck went to a winery in northern Ca. several years before he passed. Your 53 Hollywood is still with Fred E. but for some reason he will have nothing to do with the club. About two years ago the exhaust manifold cracked and I found a replacement for him. We still see it around town.
