That is the problem with street rods in general. YOu know how much you have in it and it is your baby, work of art, but each one is unique and you will need to find someone that has the same level of interest as you do. So if you build one you should do it for your own benefit and not hope you can recover your costs when you grow tired of it.

Doing an original or restoration is different in that there is a certain perception of what it was and what it is now and certain value that it has.

If you hack it it is yours.
