'54 Hornet FS w/ Chevy 6
Well this is different. Not sure why someone would make this swap but apparently it was done in 60s or 70s and this would have been when 308s would have been easy to get.

Maybe just one of those situations where that was the engine they happened to have lying around without any additional money poured into it.0

I have seen several Hudson's where folks have used a Chevrolet 6 for the power plant. Most often it was the 235 rather than the truck engine. The cars I have been aware of ran good and gave good performance. Also, a good friend, and long time Hudson Club member has a Dodge Slant 6 in his car. Great engine. Nice car. I could go for either combination--or perhaps stay with the Hudson six/eight powerplant.0
