repro twin H power insignea
I bought a repro twin H power insignea from Jason of Albright Hudson. It is very nice but has about the size 3/8 pins
that hold it on trunk. I am not sure what to use to hold the insignea on the trunk or wheather to use it or try to find the right one with small pins. I would have to redrill the original pin holes bigger to make it fit. What do you think.

3/8 diameter? that seems excessive to the point that you will have a hard time keeping the letters over the holes. I would guess someeone got 3/8 and 3/16 confused and made them wrong. Did you qustion Jason? I don't see the need for larger pins on a repro anyway, the new pins are not going to be potmetal like the origonal and will live in a much friendlier environment that the junk yard examples that show up.0

thanks nick Should I try and find a insignia with the right size pins. The car is all painted and it will make me cry to try and drill the holes bigger . Ray0

FIRST ask Jason why the pins are so large. That isn't right - if it can't be replaced with something proper, then get your money back.0
