Speedo and clock question
I have a Speedo and Clock from a stepdown that I would like to get sold, but I need to know what year they are from. I don't have any pictures at the moment as I left the parts at my shop by accident last night.
The clock has "1948" or "48" stamped on the back of it so I am assuming they are for a 48-49. Both have the brown burlwood pattern to the gauge face and the clock is electric.
I'll post pics later once I have the parts in hand.

If the clock is electric, It's a Commodore. 48-49. Let me know how much $$$$ you want for that junk.. LOL0

Yes, the clock is electric. and the gauges seems to be a match to a 48-49 radio I have too, although the plastic window on the radio is pretty foggy. Here are a couple pics.
The bezel around the clock is completely bare of chrome and would need re-done. The clock "points" are free and the mechanism seems like it would work if one would apply 6V.
The speedo bezel is still shiny but could use replacement if someone were to match the set. Also, the needle on the speedo looks a little corroded.0
