Hi Guys,
You may remember that recently Lee Odell gave us some information about Oil Extreme. Oil Extreme is an oil or additive that reduces wear on our engines. The testing information was what Lee had posted. Well, I looked up the company and last Saturday I sent the company a message with several questions. I received a response on Sunday from George French the owner, very impressive that the owner would respond on a Sunday. I have included below some of the information that George gave me. There are two (2) email messages from Mr. French.

Dear Marvin,

Yes, our Calcium Petroleum Sulfonate technology which is found in our Oil Extreme "Better than Synthetic" Motor Oil, and our Oil Extreme Concentrate Additive, works especially well in older cars. In fact the Rolls Royce Club of England recommends to its members that they use it in their Vintage Rolls Royce Engines.

One of the things why they recommend it is because in vintage engines the cars are not driven every day, so they usually don't get hot enough to burn off condensation in an engine, so the water and acid from normal combustion don't have a chance to burn off, and the acid and water sit in the crankcase and cause corrosion.

However, with our extremely high TBN of 20, this helps to neutralize the acid, as well as cutting friction and wear while running.

As far as which product you should buy, I suggest you start with our Concentrate. After you see the difference in engine performance, you might like to buy our complete oil with our technology already in it.

I would suggest you buy the 16 ounce bottle as you will want to put some in the transmission as well as the rear end, and the radiator, which will keep your water pump bearing from going out.

Warmest Regards,
George

Dear Marvin

The first time you use it, put 2 ounces of Concentrate per quart of engine oil.

Change oil at your regular oil change interval, then use just one ounce per quart, and at least double the drain interval.

Put 2 ounces per quart of transmission fluid in a std shift, and just 1 ounces per quart in an automatic trans.

Put two ounces per quart in the rear end, and just 2 ounces period in the radiator.

Thanks for the order.

It just so happens my dad bought a terra plane when I was a little boy. As I remember all those years ago, it had a
red hood ornament.

Warmest Regards
George

It's interesting that Marvin and I both thought to contact EXTREME OIL about the same time and receive replies same day. I received this email from George French, President of EXTREME OIL, replying to my email about EXTREME OIL use in flat tappet engines. I was impressed not only that he reply within 24 hrs but also that he took the time on his Sunday afternoon. Since reading the reply it came to me that if it will protect cam wear possibly the 308 pump gear may experience longer life also.

    Dear Lee:

Thanks so much for your email and your interest in Oil Extreme.

I appreciate you bringing to our attention the fact that we don't specifically talk about flat tappet engines.

We thought we had covered everything on our website, and now we find we left out such an important point about the effectiveness of our Concentrate additive and David Vizard's Break in System on flat tappet engines.

These products are especially effective on flat tappet engines for break in and continual running especially since a majority of ZDDP was taken out of motor oil.

However, if you will read the technical paper on our website about the Calcium Petroleum Sulfonate technology found in our Oil Extreme Concentrate and David's Break in System you will quickly understand why our extreme pressure technology is many times more effective for flat tappet engines as well as reducing friction and wear on all metal surfaces, than the old ZDDP technology.

You can find this article on the top left hand side of our home page at www.oilextreme.com.

You can also look at Joe Nemechek's oil analysis chart from his Busch Series engine, which is of course a push rod engine in NASCAR.

As you read the oil analysis specs, you will see in parts per million the actual reduction of wear metals in his engine. It shows 2 and 3 times less wear by using Oil Extreme Concentrate.

Joe tells us that we have saved him hundreds of thousands of dollars because he is able to run his engines 5 and 6 races before he has to do anything but change valve springs between races. And since valve springs do not have metal to metal sliding surfaces there is no way our Concentrate can help metal fatigue.

Lee, I hope this answers your questions. If you need more answers please fee free to give me a call.

    Warmest Regards
    George W. French

P.S. You will love the products. I guarantee it.
