Is that reasonably accurate for a Hudson, or reasonably accurate in spite of being a Hudson?
Lol!

Good news. I am pleased with the accuracy of the one in my car but not that confident that I would go too far once it indicated it was down to 1/4 full!!0

Walt her, my gas gauge read good to 1/4 mark and stays there for about 50 miles then drops to the empty mark and takes 18 gallons to fill up. So far 142,000 miles and stays the same. Have never run out of gas in all my cross country trips.

Walt - One day I will try to see how far I can go as long as I have the backup of a two gallon can in the boot! If I get 50 miles that is not too bad to work on.

It's easier to just note how much it takes to fill it when it's reading 1/4.0

My gauge is reading 1/2 needle width above dead-center half. This matches the amount of fuel I started with, driving I have done, idling in the driveway and the MPG estimates for the 232 in a Pacemaker.
I will doing some checking as I attend a few local car shows while we wait for our house.0 -
Walt-
Mine in the sedan works about the same as yours, except it never reads quite full (about the width of the needle away from "F").0
