Hey, everybody! We just finished an International Meet planning meeting and things are really coming together for the San Mateo Meet in July! It's going to be really great with lots of fun stuff planned, so if you haven't got your registration in yet, I suggest you do so as soon as possible to get a space on the tours that are left and have your goody bag and pre-prepared registration materials ready when you arrive!

The world famous Thursday night 'Beach Blanket Babylon' musical show has sold out--congratulations to those of you that have it booked! You're going to have a great time! The Alcatraz/Pier 39 tour is almost sold out, so hurry if you plan to sign up for that one! There are spaces left for the Muir Woods/Sausalito trip as well as the San Francisco City Tours Friday and Saturday, however Saturday is filling up as well. For those of you who will be first-timers to the City by the Bay or haven't been here in a long time, this is a great way to see the highlights and places you've heard and seen so much about in comfort with your own personal tour guide. Tour numbers need to be finalized by June 15, so get your reservations in ASAP.

We have a great day planned on Thursday, Vendor Day, with all kinds of activities and special surprises in the parking lot. The banquet on Saturday night will be exciting too with some really fun entertainment and Hudson-related speakers about everything from Bay Area Hudson history to Pixar and the development of the 'Cars' movie, which has re-introduced our cars to a whole new generation.

And how about that wonderful WTN cover? Doesn't the Nielsens' '53 Super Wasp make the Golden Gate Bridge look beautiful? Your car could probably bring out it's architectural beauty in the background as well! Please make your plans now if you haven't yet and we look forward to seeing you all in San Mateo!

How about a Giant's baseball game? They are in town that week.

Go for it! You can catch the Caltrain from the Hayward Park Station, less than a half mile from the hotel (you might even be able to talk their shuttle into taking you over there!) right to the SF Station, a block from PacBell park! Any of the NorCal members, who will be wearing fluorescent green safety vests and large 'Ask Me' buttons, can help you get there!
