Hudson Hornet rockers

You could try someone like Ken Amman (he's in the HET Club roster) for some NOS ones. Other than that, there is a company in Vermont called Green Mountain, which makes repro steel rocker panels for Step-Down Hudsons, though there seems to be some disagreement as to whether they have the same compound curve as the originals (see comment that follows this one!).

The one I rec'd for my 54 Hudson Super Wasp (2-dr)
was STRAIGHT as an arrow! We wound up straightening
the one on the car, a replacement part too, but correctly
"stamped", not pressed and rolled in a straight line. They
have returned my money (VISA is valuable) plus they paid
for all the shipping. Don't know about the 53, but I assume
it would have similar compound curves, and not straight. If they
tell you it is straight, I suspect you don't want it, if you
want it replaced with an exact reproduction. Regards0
