Updated Room and Parking Info for the San Mateo Int'l Meet

Just a note to update San Mateo Meet room and parking information:
There are still some rooms available for Thurs., Fri., & Sat. at the HET Meet rate of $105.00. There is a more limited number, but a few left for Mon., Tues., & Wed. for $189.00. Lorena Ochoa, Head of Sales and Marketing, is handling our group reservations at this point. Her direct # is 650-653-6040. Cut-off for the HET price is July 5, so if you still need to make your reservations, do it soon! Parking passes will be available for HET members in much the same manner that they were handled at Spokane. Looking forward to seeing you all there! ]

I called last July, and tried to book a room, All I could get was Wed. and Thur. I booked the room. called 2 weeks ago could not get any more nights so canceled the 2 days I had.

That information was obviously not correct and we regret the failure of the hotel Marketing Director to adequately communicate with the public reservation staff. They have a new Marketing Director in the last several months who is personally handling our event (phone no. above). There are still rooms available. Anyone please let Richard or Ed know if you are still having problems and post here so we can help.

I called in to book a room last week and was told after a long wait that the event was full.
After about 20 minutes I thought to my self. somethings up. Called back and and got a room, no problem.

Sorry to hear about the misinformation you received as well, Paul. Thanks for being persistent. Hope you got the Hudson rate if it was for Thur-Sat. I know she's not there 24/7 like the Reservation Desk staff, but do call Lorena direct and leave a message if you can't get through and need to book or correct any problems at this point. Thanks for letting us know as well and we look forward to seeing you at the Meet! ]

I called today and got 2 rooms for Friday night the 26th with no problems...Didn't even have to talk to Lorena.....
