Original color question (Interior)

I have stripped the interior of my 54 from the trunk to the dash. I will be starting on the dash later this week. In the trunk there was primer red, the light blue (color of my car when purchased on the inside trunk lid: blue/rust). The rear wheel wells and inside fenders were undercoated and have white paint on them. Inside the car, the doors are the light blue, the floor is black with the tar board fixed to the floor, and the back seat support and rear quarter windows are white. The interior roof is white. The firewall in the engine compartment is also white. So, my question is: Was this a white car from the factory, is any of the white paint inside the car something Hudson did? And what is up with the inside roof being white? Any guesses would go good with my theories.

No factory white for Hudson in '54. It could be St. Clair Gray or possibly Coronation Cream.0

Brownie, My 54 had bare metal under the head liner and behind the dash and kick panels. Maybe you could pull off one of the door or rear window stainless trim and there should be original paint under it.0
