That's good for a chuckle. Really never gave that much thought. You really do need a vacuum cleaner. Maybe Hudson should have marketed a portable vacuum cleaner - they might have made a fortune off it. LOL

If it was a used Stepdown the drain holes didn't matter after a few years in the NE salt! The other openings would be bigger and easier to use. LOL0

My 37 Hudson , still has the orginal wisk broom.
I remember my Dad's mechanic telling him not to buy a car you had to dip everything out of off the floor.0 -
I thought all you old guy's knew about the whisk broom/step down dilemma. I always heard as a kid that that was one of the main "disagree-ables" about step-down's: you couldn't sweep them out!
I always thought that was the main reason we started using vacuum cleaners to clean cars out. One of my chores as a kid was to sweep out the cars once a week.0
