1954 Dash

Ordered my wire harness (thanks Chris Smith for the work you did with them so they knew what I wanted). While I am waiting I am ripping out the interior. Played with the dash gages yesterday. It looks pretty good. The radio cleaned up as well. This is part of the bright work that was smeared in grease... Anyone have a good idea on what to place behind the turn arrows? What was there fell off..

Brownie, I used a plastic called a 'gel' . Used by theatre companies. Obtainable from theatre supply outfits. Plastic supply houses might be another good source. Takes the heat well . (unlike the stuff Hudson put in)0

Brownie, You could call a business card printer. I have seen and had see through green plastic business cards and would work perfect for a cheap price.0

Another thought is order the turn signal indicator bulb lens from Dennis Carpenter. a kit for a 63 ford Galaxie will work perfect.0

Brownie, check the scrapbooking aisle at Hobby Lobby, They should have a sort of green transparency there. By the way, did you find someplace to get the clock working? I have need of that same service.0
