Home made Dual 2BBL Intakes

Couple dual 2 BBL manifolds ive made. The 1st one, a Twin H Intake, I milled off both bases and bolted on
2bbl adapters then ported below slightly to blend the flow... It worked real well at the Strip....The only drawback its real heavy weighing 50lbs......

Ive made 4bbl Intakes out of the '49-'50 aluminum manifold's so decided to make a dual 2Bbl which weighs 25lbs less........ I have'nt final trimmed the sealer around the top plate yet, but the nice thing about these manifulds they both have equalizer passages, light, and Twin H Linkage rods can be easily adapted....

Just a thought for consideration, and in hindsight, welding the adapters would been neater....

    Good stuff. Tig welding the adapters would look nice and never worry about leakage.
    Will be interesting to see how it performs.
