NO I DON'T THINK SO THE BELL HOUSING ON EACH TRANS OLDS,PONT,HUDSON ARE DIFFERENT SO THEY WILL FIT TO THE ENGINE AND I'M ALMST SURE THE SHIFT POINTS ARE DIFFERENT PER THE WEIGHT OF THE CAR0

The only difference is the bell housing, and you can put a Hudson bell housing on the Olds trans. All you have to do is adjust the throttle rod for the shift points you want. Done many of them that way. Has more clutches and makes a nice tow car. Walt.0

Won't the torque converters be different as well. When Gus Souza rebuilt my 1953 transmission to mate up to a 1955 308 engine he asked which flex plate were using so it would be set at the right depth.0
