How much clutch fluid does a 1930 Hudson 8 require? I have an instruction booklet for the 1930 Essex, it says 8 ounces. Thanks. Bob

OK. I found in the 1930-33 Hudson service operations manual it takes 1/4 pint of fluid or 4 ounces.

Thanks for the confirmation Paul. I took the 8 ounces out and put 4 ounces back in, now I can get it into gear.

I read in an early Hudson manual that use of Kerosene was recommended for clutch ?
    I think this was early '20's ?
